A bunch of pictures from the last few months

I have been taking a lot of pictures, but have not really kept up with posting on here. Pictures of car shows that I have been to. Pictures of Gaby and I. Pictures of my sister, brother-in-law and their family when they visited. There's also numerous pictures of things I have cooked. That is something I am into lately. I enjoy cooking. I am not the best as a few things have not come out that great.

A GIF I made of the process for making smash burgers.

A Lexus F car meet
This was a Lexus car meet at the Chemical Guys in Round Rock I attended. At one point, I believe there were 10 or 12 F cars. Including a Lexus LFA, GSFs, ISFs and RCFs.

Thanksgiving turkey breast
This was an attempt to smoke a turkey breast on the gas grill. We also had seasoned diced potatoes and buttermilk biscuits we made ourselves.

Attempt at smoked meatloaf for Chirstmas
I attempted to smoke a meatloaf on my gas grill. It came out alright. We cooked diced potatoes in the foil above

I am not sure what model car this is, but it is one of the meanest looking cars I have seen at the Pistons on the Square car show. The engine alone is breath taking. It is tubbed and caged. It is a beautiful car.

Smoked pork butt
The day after getting my Yoder Smoker YS-640 pellet grill I smoked a pork butt/shoulder. I seasoned it the night before using Whiskey Bent "The Old Fashioned" pork and rib dry rub. Starting early, at 4:30 AM, I got the pellet grill up to temp, which was 275 degrees F. Since I had to work all day and was meeting a friend after work to workout at the gym I did not do any spritzing of the meat. The pellet hopper was full and it was enough for the almost 14 hour cook. When it reached the internal temp of 180 degrees F, I pulled it out, put it in a steam pan, covered it in butter and brown sugar and placed foil of the top. This was near the 12 hour mark. I then put it back into the pellet grill until it reached an internal temp of 205 degrees F. I then removed it from the grill, let it rest for 30 minutes and shredded it. My daughter was the first to have a bite and she loved it.

Wagyu Steak seasoned
This was the beginning of a reverse searing of a wagyu steak. I smoked it until it hit 120 degrees F. That took just over 30 minutes. I then seared each side for 1 minute on the sear-station of my gas grill. The temp was 165 degrees F. I added a pat of butter and let it rest for almost 10 minutes before eating. It was delicious.
